Once you book, I’ll send you a style guide with tips for choosing outfits that photograph beautifully and feel true to you. I’m also happy to help you coordinate looks!

Talk about the session in a fun and positive way — maybe as a special playdate or a chance to show off their favourite toy. Make sure they’re well-rested and fed, and try not to stress if things don’t go exactly as planned. Kids pick up on your energy, so staying relaxed goes a long way!

Totally normal — and not a problem! I approach every session with patience, flexibility, and a few tricks up my sleeve. We’ll follow your child’s lead, take breaks as needed, and keep the vibe fun and low-pressure. Some of the best moments come from letting kids be themselves.

I shoot at a variety of natural and urban locations. We’ll talk during your consultation to find the perfect setting — or I can suggest spots based on your vision and vibe.

It doesn’t have to be perfect — I promise. I’ll work with the available light and suggest a few simple things you can do to prep, like clearing clutter from main areas or opening blinds. A lived-in, loved-in home always photographs beautifully.

If we're shooting outdoors and the weather doesn’t cooperate, I’ll work with you to reschedule at no extra cost. At the time of booking, we will determine a rain date (usually the next day, same time), just in case!

You’ll receive a proofing gallery within one week of your session. After you select your favourites, your final edited gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks.

Yes! Your final gallery includes access to a curated print shop where you can order high-quality prints, albums, and wall art — all professionally made and shipped right to your door.

Absolutely. Most sessions iclude a set number of edited images, but you’re welcome to purchase additional favourites from your proofing gallery.

Travel within 30 km from Barrhaven is included in your session fee. For sessions beyond that, a small travel fee may apply — I’ll always confirm any additional costs upfront during booking.

I focus mainly on maternity, newborn, family and solo portraits, but I occasionally take on small events. Feel free to inquire!
